Registration to this forum is free but we must insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below.  Your registration on this forum indicates that you have read and agree to abide by these rules.  If you do not agree with the rules and would like to cancel the registration, click the "Home" button at the top of your screen to return to the forums index.

Although the administrators and moderators of the New England Immortals will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages all of the time. All messages express the views of the individual author and those individual authors will be held accountable for the content of any message that is posted with that User Account. As such, these messages do not express the opinions and views of the members of The New England Immortals, Simple Machines (forum software maker), or our ISP.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-harrasing, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violate any laws.

The administrators and moderators of the New England Immortals reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

General Rules & Regulations

There are a few quick rules to keep in mind when posting on our forum. For the Forum to grow and so that everyone can feel welcome to post and join our online community, these simple rules are necessary and must be followed by all members of the Forum.

1. No foul language. Basically put, you need to keep the language to a PG-13 level. If they can't say it on national television, don't say it here. We wish to maintain a family friendly atmosphere. If you link in a video or photo from another site and it contains anything foul such as swearing, nudity, ect you will be held responsible for the content as if it were your own!

2. This forum makes use of a language filter which will catch most cases of foul language and prevent you from posting such messages. You are NOT allowed to use creative spellings and ASCII characters to work around the filters. Doing so will be considered use of the offending language and you will be punished.

3. No Spamming. Simply put, everyone gets all the spam they could ever want in their e-mail inboxes. We don't need any more on our online forum. Posting useless or off topic messages, links to non-paintball related websites (other than the personal sites of forum members), any kind of chain mail style messages, "gnome wars", and anything that the moderators feel does not belong will be considered spam.

4. Please keep it "On Topic" and we'll all be happy. We allow for some leeway in the lounge area as that location is provided for our members to discuss anything as long as it conforms to the rest of the rules, but posts about barels should be in the barrels sections of the forum.

5. Absolutely, Positively NO O-U-T-W-A-R POSTS WILL BE TOLERATED. Post an O-U-T-W-A-R or similar type of link and you will be banned for an indefinite amount of time and reported, no questions asked.

6. Keep it friendly. No flaming or trash talking or abusive language. No derogatory comments about any forum member's race, age, sex, religion, sexual preference, or opinions will be tolerated. We expect you to behave to the best of your ability and with respect to your fellow members. It's okay to disagree and debate an issue, it's another to flame and attack other members or companies releasing new products.

7. Flaming and trolling will not be tolerated in any section of this forum. If a member is flaming report the member by using the "Report this to a Moderator" link at the bottom of each post box AND DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE FLAME WAR! If a member is Trolling (i.e. posting "The Flatline Suxorz!" in the flatline forum) report the post and DO NOT ENGAGE the troll. A moderator or administrator will review the post and member history and take the appropriate actions. For more information on how to report a post please see the section below. If multiple members are involved in a flame war ALL parties involved will be punished and the appropriate actions will be taken.

8. Since there is no real way to police the trades that are made between parties over the internet, we CANNOT, and WILL NOT accept any responsibility for any trades made on New England Immortals Forum. If a transaction goes bad please use the Report this to a Moderator link and contact a moderator so that we can be informed as to what went on with the transaction. The New England Immortals will do what it can within its legal right to assist the jaded party but will not and can not guarantee that the products or funds will be returned. ALL SALES TRANSACTIONS ON THE NEW ENGLAND IMMORTALS FORUM ARE BUYER BEWARE!

9. NO corporate selling. No Preorders from any internet or local stores unless approved by the ADMINS of this forum.  Any corporate selling will be deleted. Repeated offenses will result in the immediate IP banning of the offender for an indefinite period of time.

10. No pyramid schemes, if it seems too good to be true don't post it here

11. You are allowed ONE and ONLY ONE Screen Name on the New England Immortals Forum. Having multiple screen names is not allowed and will result in those screen names being banned.

12. Ignorance is not bliss. Being ignorant of the rules of this forum is no excuse for violating the rules of this forum. As a member of the forum, it is YOUR responsibility to learn the rules of the forum, keep up with any changes and obey them at all times.

Failure to comply to these rules and regulations can, and often will, result in; the editing or deletion of the offending posts, a warning to the author of the post, or in the case of extreme or repeated violation, the banning of the author of the post and the reporting of the misuse of the forum to the author's service provider.

It doesn't matter if you like them or not, you need to learn to love them, because the admins and moderators are always right and always justified in their actions. The moderators are here to enforce the above rules. Moderators are necessary for the forum to function as it is intended and they are, for all intents and purposes, the judges, juries, and executioners of this forum. The word of a moderator is final. A request from an ADMIN is not an invitation to debate the issue. If you do not obey the Admin/Moderating teams requests then you will be taking a vacation from our fine forum for an undisclosed time period.

The Three Strikes Rule

1. If a member breaks the rules once, a warning will be issued.

2. If a member breaks the rules twice a second warning will be issued as well as a temporary ban for an undetermined length of time.

3. If a member breaks the rules a third time the member will receive a notice advising him/her of the violation. An IP ban for an indefinite length of time will also be instated.

If a member who is banned creates a Secondary Screen name that member will have violated rule #11. Violation of RULE #11 by a member who has entered into the 3 strike rule system will immediately be IP Banned for an indefinite length of time.
