Holy crap!  What the heck did this camera fall into?  It must have been some damn soft ground (looks like a swampy beach from the debris on it).   But still.  Wow

They detached when the chute opened so I'm guessing the camcorder fell off the plate at the same time, which would explain why one is dirty and the other not.  I suspect the camera hit some soft ground that had been wet recently and the camcorder must have hit some pavement, a roof, a car or something similar.

A guy at work told me this program is big in the woodworking scene.  It is a pretty cool and free 3D CAD program.

Sketchup is one of the primary software apps architects use for early design phases.  It's a fantastic program.
